About Fatima Hospital
In the years before 1354, during an official visit to the Vatican, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi met with the pope, and the pope sought the activity of the Catholic Church in Iran, suggesting that Mohammad Reza would build a hospital by the pope. Malta Cross or Knights Hospitallers of St. Founded in 1567, which has a long history of promoting Christianity in various countries, the hospital was built in Tehran under the name of Notre Dame Fatima and opened in 1354.
Today, it has been renamed the Fatemeh Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery Hospital.
